By- Laws
1. This shall be a non- profit organization
2. Officers shall include president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
3. The Exective board will be made up of the officers and 5 directors,
4. Officers and directors shall be elected to a two year terms
5. The Executive Board will have the power to appoint vacancies.
6. Reorganization shall be done at the second general membership meeting following the show date,
7. An auditing committee shall be appointed at he reorganization meeting.
8. Paid membership will be open to the general public.
9. In order to vote or make a motion, a member must be in good standing with paid- up membership, be eighteen, and attend a minimum of three meetings a year.
10. In order to be an officer, a member must be in good standing with paid- up membership, be twenty- one years old, and attend a minimum of three meetings a year
11. The meetings will be held the fourth Sunday of the month, unless otherwise announced.
Rules
1. All running gas engines, operating displays, and working demonstrations should be roped off a minimum of three (3) feet.
2. All operating or running engines must have an operator within ten (10) feet.
3. Children thirteen (13) years of age or younger must be accompanied by a supervising adult within reach of the motorized vehicle. In order to operate a motorized vehicle, all persons seventeen (17) years of age or younger are required to have a realease form signed by supervising adult.
4. No more than two (2) people per tractor or mower
5. It is the owner's responsibility to operate the engine and/or attachment safely and all persons running the equipment should be acknowledgeable in their safe operation.
6. All motorized vehicles are to be operated at a safe speed and in a safe manner.
7. All fuel must be kept in approved closed containers and properly marked.
8. Unauthorized three- wheeler, motorcycles, trail bikes or bicycles are not permitted on the show grounds.
9. Golf carts may be used by handicapped or authorized personnel only.
10. All sickle bar mower blades must be guarded for safety.
11. There is to be no riding of motorized vehicles through the flea market area- sush as golf carts, tractors, motorcycles, go carets, lawn mowers, etc
12. All operating tractors, large or small, must use the tractor roads designated for this purpose.
13. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the grounds.
14. If these rules and regulations are not followed, the owner or operator will be asked to park the equipment. A second violation could result in being asked to leave the grounds.
15. The Menges Mills Historic, Horse, Steam ans Gas Association is not responsible for accidents or lost or stolen items
16. Parking not allowed on blacktop of Shearer Drive.
EXHIBITORS ARE REQUESTED TO STAY TILL THE END OF THE DAY
THE SAFETY COMMITTEE HAS THE RIGHT TO ENFORSE THESE RULES
WE ARE ENCOURGAGING EXHIBITORS TO BECOME A CLUB MEMBER. ALL CLUB MEMEBERS ARE AUTOMATICALLY COVERED BY CLUB LIABILITY INSURANCE.
